March from Nutcracker Suite -- good start !

The first piece I picked up is March from the Nutcracker Suite, arranged by Pletnev.

When I first heard this, 10 years ago in a live (amateur) performance, I nearly dropped off from my seat because of the dazzling brilliance. This piece is fascinating and my daughter rather liked it probably because she was familiar with Disney's "Fantasia" and had started Ballet lessons. Later I found that this piece is easy to remember and I had much fun in practicing it.

My Yamaha-N1 allows one to record his / her play in MIDI file, but I went to a piano studio and made a 1-hour recording session with C3X Yamaha. I was satisfied with this start; my technique failed here and there, but it is just like me and the performance is still enjoyable.
