Two pieces from Swanlake: Just Play!

"Scene" from Swanlake by Tchaikovsky is what many think about when speaking of music. When I was a boy my father often listened to LP record of Nutcracker and Swanlake as well as recordings of Borodin and Smetana. We loved it. After more than 30 years I became familiar with many other classical music, but Swanlake still sits in the throne.
I found Frorian Noack's performances in youtube while I was searching for Swanlake pieces; my daughter was preparing her Ballet performance with one of the tunes in Swanalake. I was fascinated with Noack's "Scene", gaining strength gradually till the climax. I instantly decided to try this, and ordered the score from a Belgian company. While waiting for the delivery, I practiced "Dance of four swans" transcribed by Earl Wild, which was more tortuous. These are almost free of counter points in contrast with Flower Waltz. The piano I used was Yamaha C5L. It demonstrated a powerful singing voice in Scene. On the other hand I failed to varnish the soft voice in the Dance. C3X might have given me a better result.
(I guess many are unfamiliar with Noack's version of "Scene". Rythm in "Scene" is too subtle to me here and there and I must modify the score.)
