Here I play the Prelude and Fugue in F# major. The prelude is from WTC Book1, and The Fugue is from Book2. One can find main melodies in Franck's Prelude, Choral and Fugue. The Choral theme appears in the left hand of Prelude, and chromatic descent in Fugue theme appears as the sub-theme of F# fugue.

I enjoy difference of atmosphere between among these pieces. Bach's Prelude is soft and reassuring. Fugue is rather witty. This is the perfect piece as an epilogue of Franck if the fugue were technically easier.

Here again I had fun adding trillers and some notes to "complete" the themes. Playing this with large piano (steinway) was a difficult task. For technical difficulties the music does not flow smoothly at some moments. I hope my use of pedals is not disturbing.

instrument: Steinway B211
