I made a live performance after an interval of 13 years ... in a kindergarten.
The story is like this. When I completed some of the recordings given here I was so happy about them that I burned some on CDs and gave them to two Moms at the kindergarten. They found the music "lovely" ... and kindly gave me an opportunity of doing the accompaniment of the kindergarten song in a homecoming day. "It is a great pleasure." It was 6 months before the homecoming. They asked for a couple of BGMs also. Good. Two 1-minute pieces more. Then they asked for more ... and I ended up to prepare for 15 minutes in two weeks. To me it was a "short notice" because I had to spend a week in an outside lab.
I made two arrangements of my own for my daughter's favorite Japanese tunes, "Flower of Thank-you" and "Wanna be a Pokemon-Master". I had no experience in arrangement, and it turned out to be quite demanding. I thought they were technically optimized for my hands, but I find them difficult afterwards. The soundtrack includes the followings: Flower of Thank-you Always with Me, Rainbow, Wanna be a Pokemon-Master, Bear Cub in Rain, and Believe
In the performance I had to use a usual pipe chair with an adjustment by floor pillow, but it was OK. I usually use a very low chair. The number of audience was about 100. Some of them supported me by singing Believe along my performance.
